23 Eight Sense - subconscious

8 - subconscious

Subconscious is the mother of all the senses. The subconscious consists of cognitive information that both the unconscious and conscious have access to, but of which we are intermittently aware. The conscious operates selectively in monitoring the environment, only registering as much information as it can manage directly; therefore many perceptions that go unnoticed by the conscious are retained in the subconscious. Learned responses are also stored in the subconscious, making it unnecessary for the conscious mind to deliberate on such automatic action as walking, avoiding sudden danger, or riding a bicycle. Unconscious mental processes and contents are blocked from direct conscious access. Rather than experiencing them directly through introspection, we can learn about them only through inference or indirect methods. Through the study of fung shui, it has been discovered through centuries of observations and close look on how different position and placement of objects surrounded humans can affect our behavior subconsciously. I'm going to point out a few things about lover in relationships that that most people don't know about and they do all the time with their valentines. Did you know that Red Roses with thorns are not a happy ending sign if you were to give them to your loved ones? The color red, it is used in marriage represents bleeding. Red roses with thorns are even more undesirable; thorns represents hardship, so on Valentine’s Day, avoid sending your loved ones red roses with thorns unless of course, you would like to end the relationship. Roses by themselves are not bad - in fact, pink, yellow, peach or cream roses (with thorns removed) are wonderful symbolic meanings associated with young love!

Did you know that mirrors in the bedroom are the most effective tools to destroy the relationship? Mirrors in the bedroom are really not advised for any type of relationship whether you're starting out or reliving a romance especially if you're pretty serious about this person! Mirrors are often said to reflect a third party in the relationship. Mirrors represent another person always coming in between two people. This often means an extra marital affair but sometimes the third person can be anyone such as a discouraging relative, etc… Ever heard of “Two's Company, Three's a crowd!” So remove your mirrors, hide them or cover them up!

And remember, to hold on to your Valentine’s love. Always have everything displayed in your home in pairs; a pair of love birds, a pair of love ducks. Ever heard of “Love comes in pairs, single comes in despair”? Make your valentine feel welcome by removing all solitude figures, remove all lonely pictures of a man or woman, have fresh flowers in your love & relationship corner, and clean out your closets to make room for your significant others to enter into your life.

22 Eight Sense - Hot, Cold

6, 7 Hot & Cold

The kitchen area resides two powerful element in the house, Water and Fire. Oven and stoves belong to Fire element. Water sink, dish washer, and refrigerator belongs to water element. Fire and Water elements oppose one another. Therefore, its is not recommended to placed them next to each other, or their oppose energy field will cause total disruption and chaos and harm your family health and financial luck. Imagine during cooking and when food is prepared, it should be kept in harmony and avoiding any negative Chi affecting your meals. I have seen oven or stove placing too close to the refrigerator in some houses. When oven is operating, it will take longer time to bake and cost more energy to run. The heat that oven generate rise the temperature of the food inside the refrigerator. Cooking stove and oven can be grouped to one isle where, water sink, dish washer, and refrigerator, and freezer can be grouped to the other side of the kitchen. Oven is known as "The Dragon Mouth" Based on the Armchair configurations, Oven should have the back support. Its recommend to placed against the wall for support. Oven should avoid the "Blast from the Door" effect and should not facing directly to the door and under the window either. We will go over "The Dragon Mouth" and the Armchair configurations in the future lessons.

We drink and eat ever day. The room and area we sit together during meal times offers the opportunity to communicate with each others, and family harmony. Therefore, the dining room arrangement is very important, and should be treated with respect. The ideal dining room area in the house should be located near the entrance, and next to, or attached to kitchen.
Therefore, the positive Chi from main entrance can flow easily along the dining room. Food is symbolized wealth, promote happiness, Harmony, and peace. Imagine yourself, your family members, relatives and friends enter your home and immediately spot your dining area, subconsciously picture the delicious food on the table, family conversations and harmony, eating enjoyment, and happiness in the mind. 19 Eight Sense - air

4 air

We live and surround within the air. The condition of it and the movement of the air affects us in every moment. "Blast from the door" is the chi that is moving too fast to be useful as it enters a room. Its very important that you are not the first obstacle of this Chi encounter. When a person sit with their back to an open door, the "Blast from the door" cause a person become insecure and anxious. When someone enter to the room, the person inside the room must look over their shoulder. Never sit or sleep in the position where directly exposed and facing behind to an open entrance. Sitting position should have a solid wall behind of you for support. sitting behind the window and sleeping under the glass windows feel uncomfortable subconsciously. If sitting behind the window is unavoidable, a good curtain or window binds should be used and act as a shield to keep you away from harmful Yin Chi attacks outside of the window.

Different colors arrangement for home and office affects our mind and behavior. In the bedroom, it is necessary to use soft and peaceful color to promo yin energy. A quality sleep immediately improve our good health and increase romantic happiness for couples. Never use aggressive color for bedroom wall and ceiling such as red. However, if the bedroom is too yin, a small ping table lamp or a small reddish brown coffee table is recommended. Never place active objects such as television, sound system, aquarium, clock with ticking sounds in the bedroom.
The productivity corner, study area, or in the office, color should be bright and vibrant for promoting yang energy. Bright colors for white walls and desk stimulates encouragement. 17 Eight sense - Sound

2 Sound

In the extreme quiet corners or rooms at home, occasionally play some soft music can positively promote Ren Chi "Human Energy". By doing so effortlessly creates some gentle positive Yang Chi to balance the insecurity and emptiness. Its always a good idea to play some very soft classical music, or your favorite soft rocks CDs or mp3s in the bathroom, living room, or family room. I personally enjoy preparing classical music from classical radio channels in the restrooms whenever guests going to visit. Never play Overwhelming or Loud Music for long period of time. This will confuse the Positive Chi and pollutes the harmony and balance for what you have created.

16 Eight sense - Light

1 Light
Light is one of its most obvious form in eight senses. It reflects on objects that can be seen by human eyes. If the front door of the house facing Sha Chi, harmful or unpleasant energy, such as cemetery, telephone pole, and sharp object point toward the front door, or anything that has aggressive in appearance, should use a mirror, or Bagua Mirror to reflect and reduce the negative energy. Mirror is a very powerful Fung Shui cures and enhancers. As food is symbolic of wealth and prosperity, food should be easily seen around the home. Placing a mirror to reflect food, cashier in the restaurant is recommended. Never place a mirror directly reflecting the door and hallway, or directly facing the entrance of the front door. It confuses the chi of the house. If mirrors hung in the bedroom opposite the bed, they will reflect the energy that that you are releasing through dreams back into your body. This will cause confusion to you as your subconscious is discarding all the unneeded information during the day, and the mirror is reflecting it straight back into your energy. You will wake up feeling dazed instead of refreshed.
